Lori began her career in 1992 with the Texas Department of Transportation in the Wellington Area Office. As an Engineering Assistant, Lori was involved in the inspection of numerous construction projects and the design of bridge replacement projects, roadway rehabilitations and new location roadways.   In 1995 Lori moved to the Childress District Office where she served in various positions including District Bridge Inspection Engineer, District Pavement Engineer, District Advanced Planning Engineer and District Design Engineer.  Lori oversaw the planning, funding and plan development for the 13 county District. 

In July 2000, Lori started the Childress office of Whitlock Dalrymple Poston and Associates, Inc. (WDP).  She was the project manager and lead designer for numerous PS&E contracts in Waco, Dallas, Wichita Falls and Abilene TxDOT Districts overseeing the design and construction phase services of over 30 roadway and bridge replacement projects.  Lori also served as the project manager for the Statewide Bridge Inspection Contract while with WDP. 

In July 2004, Lori joined Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (KHA) as a Practice Builder and opened the Childress office of KHA.  Lori served as the project manager and designer for over 50 rural and urban roadway and bridge projects in the Fort Worth, Waco, Abilene, and Wichita Falls Districts and acted as project manager for multiple Statewide Bridge Inspection Contracts with the Bridge Divison of TxDOT.    Lori was named as KHA’s Texas Region “Outstanding Project Manager” in 2005 and “Outstanding Professional” in 2007.  In 2006, Lori was named as the Childress Chamber of Commerce’s “Business Woman of the Year”.

In April 2010, Lori joined AMD Engineering as a firm Principal and Project Manger in Childress.  She currently works on various projects involving public and private clients with an emphasis on transportation engineering, bridge inspection and the emerging wind energy field.

Lori is currently a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and serves as a member of the Childress Independent School District Board of Trustees.  Lori is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas and Oklahoma and is certified in the Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges and Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges.

A native of Childress, TX, Lori is married to David and has two sons, Dylan (12) and Ty (7).  Lori and her family are involved in numerous community activities and are active in the First Baptist Church of Childress.
